What is Mental Training?

We can not overstate the importance and the value we place on Mental Training here at Jaeger Sports. When Alan Jaeger started Jaeger Sports in 1991, he prioritized it first and foremost. Back in those days it was not popular and almost frowned upon. Luckily, these days it is a necessity to optimize one’s career and performance.

What is Mental Training?

It is no different than Physical Training — it is applied Practice to develop Mental Skills in the same manner that you would want to develop Physical Skills so that you can optimize your performance. Perform can mean many different things to many different people. The key is to look at it the way you look at Physical Training: practice and preparation to improve performance.
